This spacious 2 bedroom + loft, 2 bathroom corner end unit is the perfect mountain retreat for your Mammoth vacation! Just a couple minutes walking distance to The Village and Village Gondola and with Southern views of the Sherwin Mountains, you will enjoy all the convenience while still relaxing in a quiet natural setting. A wood-burning stove will keep you warm on those stormy Winter nights and a kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, and BBQ grill on the back deck, will make you feel right at home. The living area features a large 60" flatscreen Smart TV with DVD player. A private washer and dryer is perfect for your extended stay with us to get all the chores done. The kids will be fully entertained with an XBOX, games, puzzles, a 40" flatscreen TV with DVD player in Loft and more! The owners have equipped this home so that you enjoy comfort your entire stay with humidifiers, fans, air cleaners and luggage racks in every closet, and even a pack n play and baby gate for the littles. The downstairs level features a master bedroom with King bed and 50" flatscreen TV. The second bedroom downstairs with Queen bed and 47" flatscreen TV, as well as a shared hallway full bathroom. The private laundry is in the downstairs guest bedroom. The upstairs loft features a bunk bed with a Double on the bottom and Twin on the top, a great hideaway for the kiddos. The condo has excellent proximity to the Village and is just a 6 minute walk to the Village Gondola, a stones throw away from the lakes basin path and trolley stop and with a secret cut through to Mammoth Brewing Co! Or if you would like a free ride on the shuttle, there is a Canyon Lodge shuttle stop right at the entrance to the development. Enjoy the community amenities at the Mammoth View Villas Clubhouse with hot tubs and Sauna located across the drive, and a recreation lounge and ping pong table. There is access to a community BBQ in Summer. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 7 people, and no smoking or pets are permitted. There are 16 steps to this unit and there are 2 levels inside. The condo comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces.     MY family loved staying here so much, we changed out lodging plans for our next trip to Mammoth so we could stay here again! The unit is quiet, parking was never an issue, and it is right next door to the hot tub. My kids loved that there was a yard around the unit so they could sled and play in the snow out back. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Beds and linens were comfortable. There is a shuttle stop nearby that we used to get to both Canyon and Main Lodges and the walk to the Village was only about 10 minutes.

    Mammoth View Villas #40 is easily walkable to the Village. And has a great view. We stayed 5 days over Christmas. The condo was very clean and well equipped. It’s obvious that the owner takes pride in their place (some others clearly do not). Mammoth Reservations were always available as soon as I made the reservation. They provided all important info in their App. Very easy to work with and staff are friendly.

    Nice unit clean and spacious. In good condition and well stocked. It is the last unit in the far corner of the complex so stake your parking spot early in front especially if it snows. Recommend

    A very quiet location yet a short walk to the village/gondola/bus stops any time. Well appointed kitchen. I cooked something nice every day. Great views of mountains and a forest. Two spacious bedrooms. Our kid loved the loft with a bunk bed! Plentiful parking. Would love to rent it again!

    The team at Mammoth Reservations was outstanding. My rental experience was a 11 out of 10 and will be renting again for future visits.

    Our condo was as advertised, clean and provided everything and more as far as amenities, wifi, and cleanliness. The 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor were terrific, and the beds were very comfortable. The rental was described as a 3BD due to the loft above the main room. The loft was private and had a bathroom on the same floor. If we were going to rent this location again, I would ask the owners to upgrade the bedding situation. The bunk mattresses (both the twin and the full) were lumpy, uncomfortable, old and smelly. After a day skiing, all you would want is a comfy mattress, and after flipping the mattress, adjusting the bed, trying the upper bunk, then the lower bunk, I slept on the couch. I wouldn't call that a comfortable experience, but I slept.

    Outside that, the location was incredible for access to the Westin, village and gondola. We will rent again from Mammoth Reservations, but not this condo if the changes haven't been made.

We were a little surprised by the comments about the bunk mattresses because they are new, not even a year old. They are memory foam mattresses though which perhaps if you are not used to that firmer type of support, might be different, but we can assure you that these are new mattresses, everyone's taste is of course very subjective when it comes to density/thickness/type of mattress.
