Enjoy a relaxing Mammoth getaway in this beautifully upgraded 1-bedroom + loft, 2-bathroom condo in the peaceful Bigwood community. Located adjacent to Sierra Star Golf Course and convenient to Mammoth Mountain, this comfortable retreat is a great home base for skiing, hiking, golfing, and year-round mountain adventures. After a day on the slopes or trails, come home and relax by the wood-burning fireplace, enjoy a movie on the flat-screen TV, or head to the year-round community hot tub for a well-earned soak. The living area also features high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and access to a private deck where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, with an adjacent dining area for gathering with family and friends. The primary bedroom features a Queen bed and flat-screen TV, with a full bathroom conveniently located just off the hallway. Upstairs, the spacious loft provides plenty of additional sleeping space with two Double beds, a flat-screen TV, and its own private full bathroom. Bigwood offers excellent community amenities, including a year-round hot tub, sauna, BBQ area, laundry facilities, and a seasonal outdoor pool surrounded by a beautiful mountain setting. The complex sits alongside Sierra Star Golf Course and is approximately 0.5 miles from the Yellow Line winter shuttle, providing convenient access toward Eagle Lodge and The Village Gondola. Guests additionally receive complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Mammoth's premier fitness and recreation facility featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full fitness center, yoga, Pilates and cycling studios, racquetball and basketball courts, plus outdoor tennis, pickleball outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. The condo includes one shared garage parking space (7'3" clearance) plus an additional outdoor space available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two parking passes are provided.   The condo was clean and in a great location, very close to Canyon Lodge. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The actual room size is a bit smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it works well for about four people. We had six, so it felt a little tight. The kitchen amenities could also use some upgrades, but everything was functional. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay and very convenient for accessing the slopes.

  Bigwood #62 is a pretty standard Mammoth cabin from the 1980's. I've been going to Mammoth for years and have stayed in many of these cabins, they are old but functional. This one has the funky wall heaters that are operated by wall thermostats in each room, it's pretty tiny, and could definitely use an upgrade. BUT that said, it was cozy and got the job done for our family of 4. We have two kids, 8 and 11, who loved the loft, the location being close to Eagle for easy access to the lifts was perfect for a quick ski weekend! Everything functioned perfectly, lots of hot water, the fireplace was great, fully stocked with firewood, it was clean and close to the hot tub! The main tv has all the streaming apps and the wifi was fine for what we needed. We would definitely stay again.

  The 1.5 week stay went very well with a few minor mechanical issues. The location of this project is good for walking to the village and around the golf course. It was quiet and the weather was near perfect.

  The condo was in very good condition when we arrived. Had no issues with appliances, lights, heaters, etc. Kitchen faucet was loose, but functional. Beds were comfortable. Surrounding area was very nice for walks. Overall, a good choice for the money.

  The property is well located! The Eagle Express chair lift to the slopes is on the same road, and the property is within walking distance to Sierra Star Gold Course.
  
  The décor is a bit dated, but worth the price.
  
  We particularly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace--the condo was stocked with a more than sufficient supply of firewood.

  All in all a very pleasant place to stay, presumably ideal for the ski season. No issues with the stay or company (minor issue with wine glass holder with very prompt response from company). Quite a long two hour drive from Yosemite valley (~2 hours), although it was a beautiful drive.
