Silver Bear is in a great location and provides convenience and security with the heated underground garage, and elevator for easy access (accesible access too). In Winter, it’s an easy 5 min walk up Lakeview Blvd to Canyon Lodge for chairlift access to the slopes or the free Gondola to Mammoth Village and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Canyon Lodge also has a full-service sports shop and retail plus dining and après ski. The bus stop for the Blue Line shuttle and year-round night trolley is very close by which can take you to the slopes or town. The shuttle and Village Gondola run from mid-December to mid-April when Canyon Lodge is open. In Summer, the Lakes area for water sports, biking and hiking are only minutes driving as is the Sierra Star golf course and downtown Mammoth. The Silver Bear common area has an recreation room to enjoy with a lounge with a Foosball table, fireplace and reading area, as well as showers. There is a year round sauna, covered Jacuzzi, outdoor Jacuzzi, communal gas BBQ grill area and in Summer a small plunge pool and fire pit.
