Beautiful ski-in, ski-out two bedroom, two bathroom condo at Sunstone Lodge, located on Mammoth Mountain's Eagle Run trail above Juniper Springs Lodge. This top floor property has mountain views and great amenities throughout including access to Sunstone's outdoor year-round heated pool, BBQ grill area, hot tub, fitness center, underground parking and guest ski locker room. The living room features two sofas (one is a sleeper sofa) with plenty of room for the whole family, flat screen TV, cozy gas fireplace and a balcony with views of the Pacific Crest Trail. The full kitchen has granite countertops, all the appliances of home, and a dining area that seats four. The master bedroom has a comfortable King bed, flat screen TV, and en-suite bathroom with tub. The second bedroom features two Twin beds, flat screen TV, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The sofa in the living room opens into a sleeper sofa for additional guests. This unit is located in the beautiful Sunstone Lodge on the Eagle Express run, a true ski-in/ski-out experience, or convenient for bike park and bike path access in the Summertime. It is the perfect apartment for a quick mountain getaway with all the amenities you would need. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people and comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 2"), bike rack storage in the parking garage and guest room ski locker access. Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are no stairs to this unit and no stairs inside. This unit is non-smoking and no pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time.     Positives: Rental process smooth. Sunstone amazingly close to Eagle Lift.
    Neutral: Unit was fine, but couches "saggy,"not one hanger to be found, and one of dining chairs broken. Needs some attention.
    Negatives: Inconsistent and weak to non-existent internet and no cell service.

    Second time staying in this unit. Location is hard to beat, with ski-in-and-out privilege. Clean and well maintained. Easy check in and check out process, even after hours.

    Sunstone Complex is very convenient to the slopes. There is an easy ski trail that takes you to and from the slopes giving you a true ski in/out experience. The condo #308 is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The pull-out couch is old and seems to be broken. Lucky that we didn't need it for sleeping. The kitchen is small and is not very well stocked with utensils. Most everything is there, however much is old/damaged. For example, knives are terrible and there is only one wooden cutting board. Finally, there are no hangars in the place at all and very limited pegs to hang ski jackets, etc... Bring your own I guess. We looked to buy a few in town and donate to the property, but it appears the town of Mammoth is out of plastic hangars. :) Overall, the facility is nice, but living room furniture and kitchen items desperately need to be updated.
