Escape to Mammoth in this beautifully renovated 1-bedroom + loft, 2-bathroom mountain retreat, tucked away in the peaceful Bigwood community near Sierra Star Golf Course and Mammoth Mountain. This private end unit combines a quiet forest setting with easy access to the slopes, town and year-round Mammoth adventures. The two-story floor plan features a bright, open living space with a wood-burning fireplace, oversized comfortable sectional, and 55" Smart Roku TV with YouTube TV. Start your morning with coffee in the cozy corner window bench overlooking the forest, or unwind by the fire after a day on the mountain. The fully renovated kitchen is a standout, featuring quartz countertops, KitchenAid stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare meals at home. The open dining area seats six, with additional bar seating for three, creating a great gathering space for family and friends. Step outside onto the private balcony to enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings. On the main level, the primary bedroom features a King bed with a Nectar mattress for a comfortable night's sleep. A full bathroom with a soaking tub/shower combination is conveniently located just off the hallway. Upstairs, the spacious loft provides an ideal setup for kids or additional guests. It features a Queen bed with Nectar mattress plus a Twin-over-Full bunk bed, with a Nectar mattress on the lower Full bed. The loft also offers a large walk-in closet and its own full bathroom with a tiled shower, giving everyone plenty of space to spread out. The home features private keyless entry and one assigned space in the shared garage (7'3" clearance). The Bigwood community offers excellent amenities, including a year-round outdoor hot tub, sauna, community BBQ area, and seasonal heated outdoor pool. The location makes exploring Mammoth easy, approximately 1 mile to Eagle Lodge and Canyon Lodge, and 5 miles to Main Lodge. The nearby Yellow Line shuttle provides another convenient way to get around town and access the mountain. Guests additionally receive complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Mammoth's premier fitness and recreation facility featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full fitness center, yoga, Pilates and cycling studios, racquetball and basketball courts, plus outdoor tennis, pickleball outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. This non-smoking condo sleeps a maximum of 6 guests and is not pet friendly. Guests are provided two parking passes. If additional parking is needed, please contact our office for alternative options. Please note: There are approximately 20 stairs to access the condo entrance, and the home has two levels inside.   We loved our stay in this cozy condo. We had beautiful snowy mountain views and the layout was great with our two small children. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances and tools - great for cooking meals at home. The home was clean and everything worked really well. It took us a minute to figure out the heating systems, so I'd recommend adding instructions to the home guide for that. We look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

  Our stay at the Bigwood condo was great. The overall feel is very light and bright with a redone open kitchen that has what you need to cook meals. There were a lot more cooking basics, like: oil, salt, pepper, spices, than the pre check in paperwork indicated. So we packed a lot of basics that we didn't need. Living area is a little tight, but nicely decorated. Main bath shower is probably a dream come true if you are 6'4" +, but for shorter folks, shower head is way too high and the high side tub is lovely for a deep soak but challenging to enter and exit. Upstairs bath was great with good water pressure and easy access to shower. Memory foam topper on king bed was crazy thick which may not be to everyone's taste. Garage parking is very tight, but needed if you have 2 cars. Wifi was good speed. Location is convenient for both Canyon and Eagle. We enjoyed our stay. Note, no late checkout requests will be granted.

  We enjoyed our stay. The unit is in very good shape, having recently been remodeled. Everything was new and clean. The stairs are a bit steep, but Ok. The end unit has good light. The location is good, and the check-in and out were easy.

  Very clean. The furniture and appliances seemed new and were in great condition. Location was a close drive (less than 10 min) to both eagle and canyon lodge which was convenient. Few cons with the rental: there is only enough hot water for 3 people to shower before it gets cold. Not a big issue if 1/2 the group showers in AM and 1/2 in PM but if everyone wants a warm shower at night, it’s not going to happen. Also, the mattress on the bottom bunk sinks down in the middle and could use a replacement. Overall, the stay was pleasant and there many little details that the property provided that we appreciated (like enough towel hooks to hang all the towels, an overhead heater to warm the bathroom so when you step out of the shower
  It’s warm, a large coat rack at the front, plenty of firewood).
