This comfortable mountain retreat gives you easy access to skiing, golf, hiking, biking and town while providing a peaceful setting away from the main thoroughfare. Located on the third floor, the condo enjoys plenty of natural light and beautiful forest views. Inside, the two-story floor plan offers plenty of room for families and groups to spread out. The main living area features a large sectional with sleeper sofa, 50” Smart TV, and cozy pellet stove. The perfect place to unwind after a day of Mammoth adventures. A comfortable nook provides a great spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or enjoying one of the many family games provided in the home. Step outside onto the private deck with outdoor seating and enjoy the fresh mountain air and surrounding trees. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and everything needed to prepare meals at home. The adjacent dining area comfortably seats six, while a separate desk/workspace makes it easy to work or study remotely when needed. On the main level, the primary bedroom features a King bed and TV, with access to a full hallway bathroom with a tiled tub/shower combination. Upstairs, the spacious open loft is perfect for kids or additional guests, featuring three Full beds, a TV, closet and its own full bathroom with tiled walk-in shower. Private laundry with a stacked washer and dryer is also located upstairs, adding even more convenience for extended stays. The Bigwood community offers excellent amenities, including a year-round outdoor hot tub, sauna, community BBQ area, and seasonal heated outdoor pool. Guests additionally receive complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Mammoth's premier fitness and recreation facility featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full fitness center, yoga, Pilates and cycling studios, racquetball and basketball courts, plus outdoor tennis, pickleball outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. Bigwood is conveniently located approximately 1 mile from Eagle Lodge and Canyon Lodge, and 5 miles from Main Lodge with easy access to the Yellow Line shuttle for getting around Mammoth. The condo includes one assigned space in a detached shared garage with a clearance of 6'6". Guests are provided two parking passes. If additional parking is needed, please contact our office for alternative options. Maximum occupancy: 6 guests. No pets and no smoking permitted. Please note: There are approximately 32 stairs to reach the condo entrance, as well as two levels inside the home. There is no elevator or accessible entry.   Condo itself is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very snug, but has what you need for basic meal prep. Bathrooms on both floors are very convenient. Beds were comfortable. Watch the corners on the bed downstairs, we ended up wedging a tennis shoe onto the corner to save our shins more bruising. The stairs were impressive to say the least. Not only do you go up to the third floor (and then the unit has an upstairs on top of that), but you even go down a few awkward steps as well. Be so so careful in the dark unloading your stuff from the car - the stairs are not all the same, its not well lit, and you can easily trip. We have stayed in another Bigwood unit with the same floor plan, that had remodeled the kitchen to be more open and spacious and had not near as many stairs. We likely will pick that one over this one for our next trip - due to tight kitchen and too many stairs for our comfort level.
