  The rental was fine overall. The bedding and blankets were just OK. For the 6 of us, we didn’t’ have enough warm bedding. The bedroom sheets are very thing and the two blankets for our 5th and 6th guests weren’t really enough either.

The condo was very well outfitted with everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable and the heating worked well. WiFi was great and the cable TV worked well.   We had six guests staying in the lodge and while there was enough sleeping arrangements for all guests, the sleeping situation was not ideal. The bedroom and the queen and twin loft upstairs were fine, but the pull out couch was very outdated and uncomfortable. The mattress was very worn down with no mattress topper provided and some of the springs were loose - we had to put the mattress on the floor in order to sleep 2 people on it. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, but the “comforters” or heavy blankets need to be updated for better comfort. The lodge itself was very clean and had everything we needed with the kitchen and bathrooms, and the fireplace was cozy. The amenity center was nice for an evening in and the location was perfect for restaurants, bars, and hikes. We would stay in a similar lodge next time but would not be relying on the pullout couch for any means of sleeping adults.

  Really easy to pick up the keys from the rental office. Condo has a big family room which is great to just relax. Everything was cleaned, came supplied with usual toiletries like soap, shampoo, etc. Condo is about 3-4 min drive from either Canyon or Eagle lodge. They do have a shuttle stop right outside the Discovery complex but its like every 30 mins on the orange line. Walking would be rough, I suggest just driving and parking if possible.

  This place was very cute! The kitchen was well-equipped and had been remodeled. It does sleep 6 but it's pretty tight - in fact, the dining table only seats 4 and there were no extra chairs (there is a kitchen counter with stools, which became the "adult table". Very clean, sufficient towels, toiletries and kitchen cleaners provided by the rental company. We didn't like that there was no place to hang or store skis/boards etc. - the closets that could have accommodated them were locked, and we ended up having to bring our gear inside. It's a slightly longer way from Canyon than other places we've stayed, not really a walk unless you're a snowboarder and can deal with a 10-minute trek each way. All in all, though, it was a decent place to stay for the week!

  The unit itself is lovely with a loft ( a single bed and a queen ) and a main floor another queen bed. The main floor room is small and feels a little cramp but then again we weren't gonna stay in bed while here ! This unit's furnishing is lovely , it even has a shelf for board games and books ! The othello game is missing some pieces though just so you know . Stayed in this unit once in February and another in March . During the first visit the unit was **** span clean . Second visit wasn't so clean - pieces of toilet paper on the floor - something the cleaning crew left perhaps ? And some kitchen utensils were dirty with food stain unwashed . We had pretty good experience in this unit with the furnishing / location etc , it's definitely newer than some places we stayed at around mammoth . Only thing I really did not like was though there were no smoking signs around the apt areas , other visitors in other units still does that infront of the walkway unfortunately and the smoke smell does get into the unit .

  Discovery 4 works well with a group of friends - we were 3 grown heterosexual men (no couples) and everyone had their own bed (some places sleep 4 but only provide 2 beds for example). The place is comfortable, has all you need, nothing fancy but everything works (there is a dishwasher which is key) and it is comfortable at a fair price. You have to drive to the mountain (or wait for the bus that picks up less than a block away) but you can see that from the map. The game room is great, and the jacuzzi is nice and big for après ski relaxation. Lastly the property management was relaxed about the key return time - we called in in the morning to say we had vacated and dropped the keys off on our way out of town.

  we booked this condo for Memorial Day weekend. overall the condo was great, it had all the utensils and supplies needed for the kitchen and cooking. it had enough space for 5 full grown adults. the heater and the fireplace works really well to keep the condo warm, however, the upstairs loft does get very hot if the heater is left on.the pool and jacuzzi are a short walk from the unit. the jacuzzi is piping hot and is nice after a full day of fishing. the check in and check out process could not be easier. the condo is clean and well maintained.we would definitely stay here again and had a great time overall.

  The Condo is exactly what it says it is. It has all the amenities you would need and perfectly located. It was very easy to rent, check in and out and we had no problems while staying.   Overall the property was very nice. I've rented condos before, and was surprised to see peripherals such as toilet paper, paper towers, dishwasher power, dish soap, shampoo, and soap provided. Six adults were able to fit very comfortably. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, plates, pots, etc. The bus stop to the ski resort is not convenient, but the walk is only 15-20 mins and is easily manageable without kids.
  
  Areas of improvement: The biggest issue with the condo is the heat balance; at night, the loft is near unbearably hot and the downstairs is near unbearably freezing. The fire place is a pain to get to work and provides little heat. The TV is in an awkward location that does not allow a large group to watch a movie or television together very easily. The community jacuzzi is essentially indoors, so the accumulated steam trapped by the walls of glass begin to irritate your eyes due to the vaporize chlorine.

  The property was the best we have rented. Great open floor plan, loved the kitchened the best stocked kitchen I have seen in a rental. Good location, quite, the neighbors are all so friendly. Going to rent this one always. Easy to schedule a vacation, pick up and drop off keys is a breeze. Snow was plowed and shoveled daily, easy in/out, close to Canyon lodge and dinner in the Village. Great views you can even see Mammoth airport from living room window. Love Loved it. The BEST!!!

  We make regular trips to Mammoth during ski season (family of 4), and this condo is now our favorite. The lay out is great, spacious, good kitchen (incl supplies), fast internet (important to us!). It is also conveniently located. This will be the condo I hope to book during our next visit!
