Mammoth Sierra Townhomes #24

Located in the heart of town, and walking distance to everything, this spacious 3 bedroom plus loft, 4 bathroom townhouse has everything to offer. It features a 42" flatscreen TV with DVD player and Roku access (sorry no cable), high-speed Internet access, private washer/dryer, and cozy pellet stove. You will enjoy a quiet forest setting from the balcony and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax throughout the cabin. The open kitchen is great for entertaining and is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom features a California King bed, flatscreen TV and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, flatscreen TV, workstation if you must work or school remotely, and en-suite bathroom. While the third bedroom downstairs is perfect for the kids (or singles) and features two Twin beds, flatscreen TV and attached bathroom. The loft upstairs has even more sleeping space with a Double bed as well as bunk bed with a Twin on the top and Double on the bottom, plus flatscreen TV also with Roku access. The Mammoth Sierra Townhomes complex offers a swimming pool, two hot tubs, sauna, and laundry facilities with parking available right in front of the units. Mammoth Sierra Townhomes offers some of the best floorplans in town with plenty of bathrooms and convenience and is an ideal location for families. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This unit has 3 levels inside, is non-smoking. This condo sleeps a maximum of 9 people and comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes.   Nice property, the four bathrooms were nice for a larger group. Kitchen was very well stocked, everything you could need to cook was there. Also appreciated having extra paper towels, trash bags, etc. there when we arrived. Beds all comfortable. Liked having a single thermostat for the entire unit over the individual wall heaters that are common in Mammoth. Televisions all worked well and having YouTube tv hooked up for live tv made no cable in the unit a moot point. Management company was receptive to questions we had. Couple minor issues that we wish we knew about - the washer was taped shut with "out of order" signs on it. When the unit is advertised as having an in unit washer and dryer, we would have liked to know it was not working before arrival as with a big group, we would have preferred to have the chance to do laundry while there. Also, the dishwasher is in desperate need of an upgrade, it does not clean dishes well at all and we spent quite a bit of time hand washing dishes. Those aside, we would stay here again.

  The condition was excellent, there were two things which were slightly annoying. One was the angle of the kitchen counter, it was difficult for more than two people to be in the kitchen. The other was the cramped parking, I had a 6 passenger truck and parking was difficult. Parking a dually would be nearly impossible. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great! Liked the double doors in front along with the mud room.

    Hello, Thank you for taking time to leave a review, and thank you for staying with us. We apologize for the mice that were found in the unit. This tends to happen in Mammoth once winter hits living in a National Forest, the little critters sometimes make their way inside. Possible locations of where they could have entered have been identified and sealed off. We do not have any notes of you reaching out to us so apologies we were not able to connect to address any issues. For any future stays our contact information is located in the unit and provided in the check-in documents, confirmation as well as our office is just down the street from this location. Unfortunately, the wifi is a hit or miss in Mammoth, especially when there is an influx of people in town. We also have one provider in Mammoth so it stretches the bandwidth when it is a busy holiday weekend. Hence the reason we can’t guarantee or have any control over WIFI speeds in our remote, mountain town. We appreciate the feedback! Thank you, MSR TEAM

  This condo is conveniently located downtown. Easy to get to grocery store and located close to restaurants. The condo has lots of space and a bathroom for every bedroom. The only downfall is that the parking is very tight for larger SUV's.The parking spots are at the very end and right next to a fence. The easiest way to get in and out is to back into the parking spots. The kitchen is fully stocked except for measuring cups and spoons. Overall great place to stay. I would recommend this condo to other guests.

The TOT certificates in the unit are only re-issued every 5 or so years, so that certificate is probably dated. Although they are renewed every year, they do not necessarily re-issue the physical certificates every year. So 5 years ago the max rate for this unit was probably less. And of course coming over Christmas is peak time for Mammoth. We will look into having that certificate updated so there is no confusion. But again, glad to hear you enjoyed the stay nonetheless.   We have used the services of MSR in the past. I have found the staff to be prompt, friendly and professional. Townhome #24 suits are needs well and the location is very convenient. I especially like the fact that we can walk to a shuttle stop painlessly.
  I would recommend that mid-week (Sunday-Thursday) clients be offered 3 parking passes because the there seem to be plenty of spaces. I would also appreciate reconsideration for the mid-week discounts as offered past seasons.
  As far as the townhome is concerned, we find the layout functional and having 4 bathrooms is especially convenient.

  Nice condo, it was very clean. Good weather and good location. Over active bezoar at night. A bear broke into our truck 1 night and caused extensive damage with no food inside.

  We enjoyed our stay at Mammoth Sierra Townhomes. The staff responded well to our questions before our arrival. They arranged for extra parking spaces. When we arrived a window screen was broken, and the maintenance team repaired it the next day. However, some of the supplies were not adequate for a week's stay.

With regards to the supplies, upon a guest's arrival, the unit is fully stocked with enough supplies to get started.   This townhouse was perfect for a large group of nine! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was modern, clean and well stocked. The location was ideal. We fished the lakes and streams nearby. We will definitely stay there again if it is available next year!!

  Our family had a really nice week up in Mammoth. We arrived the day before Christmas Eve and the snowfall. Everything in the townhouse was clean and comfortable. A couple suggestions would be for the owners to update the bathrooms. We are all of average height and the vanities are all way below standard-they were only about 25 inches tall and standard height is approx 33 inches. The only other thing is the kitchen table is way too large for the space, so it made seating difficult when our family was all eating together. Perhaps maybe an oblong table rather then a round one would work better. Also, the reviews we read as far as the kitchen not being well stocked with pots/pans/tools-we found it to be well equipped. The fire should have some instructions on how to operate. We got it working through trial and error but instructions for safety sake are always helpful.

  It was good. the picture of the living room is a little deceptive in size and anyone sleeping in the loft gets up when the first person hits the kitchen or light comes in but overall we all liked it and there were 8 of us. It is really handy that Vons and Starbucks are a 5 minute walk away.

  Great home, very clean and cosy with everything you need for a great family vacation! We were 8 adults and 2 kids under 2 and were all very comfortable, we had no problems with the accommodation at all and had a great week skiing and hiking. The bus stop right outside takes you to the Eagle Lodge chairlift in 5 mins and the market and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk - we can't wait to come back!
